Schliniger Alm

The Schliniger Alm is located in the idyllic Schlinigtal valley near Burgeis, at 1,868 m above sea level. The starting point of this hike is the parking lot of the cross-country skiing center in Schlinig, which is located at the end of the small village. Now follow the forest path on the left-hand side of the Schliniger Bach stream. Following this path, you will come across several stations with playground facilities for children. Stay on the forest path until you finally reach the Schliniger Alm. The way back is along the same path. Let yourself be spoiled by the Almgasthaus cuisine and the products of the cheese dairy. The Schliniger Alm is not only a popular excursion destination for families and sports enthusiasts, but also offers one of the best alpine cheeses in the Upper Venosta Valley in the dairy.

The alpine pasture is open from the end of May to the beginning of November!
