It's not about perfection!

So that everyone of all ages feels encouraged, we offer practice sessions in advance - without registration, come along spontaneously!

LAST JOINT DANCE AND SINGING REHEARSE 2026

- the "dress rehearsal" on market day in Markdorf

On Thursday, 26 February 2026, at 12 noon. February 2026, at 12 noon, a final joint rehearsal will take place at Platz an der Linde to learn and practice the dance flash mob "Break the Chain" and the choir part for the song "Women of the World Unite" for the One Billion Rising day of action in Markdorf.

All visitors to the weekly market and lunchtime revellers are cordially invited!

In case of rain, the rehearsal will take place in Ulrich5!

One Billion Rising Markdorf

Every third woman is a victim of violence. That's 1 billion women worldwide ("one billion"). The global dance protest campaign aims to raise awareness and at the same time encourage women to rise up. On this day, people around the world take to the streets and draw attention to this issue with rallies, music and dance.
