From the hotel, certified fitness trainer Phil will take you by bus toward Zell am See / Schmidt Valley. From there, you’ll take the Schmittenhöhenbahn up to the Schmittenhöhe. This is also where the leisurely hike to the Sonnkogel begins.
Here, you can stop for coffee and cake at the Sonnkogel Restaurant.
Afterward, take the Sonnenalmbahn back down to the valley, where you can catch the bus directly back to the hotel.
Duration: approx. 5 hours
Equipment: (sturdy shoes, money, possibly a small backpack with a jacket and a drink)
