Halloween Between the Lake and the Mountain Peak

The Ossiacher See Boat Tour will be cruising the lake on October 24, 25, and 26, 2026, with an autumnal Halloween atmosphere. Seasonal decorations and the “Best of Carinthia” Halloween puzzle await guests of all ages.

Things go even higher on the Gerlitzen Alpe. From October 23 through November 1, 2026, daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., a first-time experience awaits you there: For the first time, guests will have the opportunity to try out the brand-new 10-person Kanzelbahn II gondola. Together with the Kanzelbahn I, it takes visitors all the way to the summit.

Halloween decorations and the group children’s puzzle create the perfect atmosphere even up on the mountain; for the clever detectives, a little surprise awaits at all “Best of Carinthia” establishments once the puzzles are solved.

During the promotion period, dogs, bicycles, and paragliding backpacks are transported free of charge on the mountain railway.
