TOBOGAN

Tobogganing is one of the oldest traditional Austrian sports. In Hochfügen, the daily open toboggan run offers 1.5 km of downhill fun for all ages. Child-friendly and as an illuminated night toboggan run a real "fun" especially for adults.

After a picturesque ascent through the snow-covered landscape of the Zillertal Alps, you can fortify yourself with hot drinks and a snack in the inn. Warmed up and in a good mood, you then swing onto the toboggan, either individually or in pairs, and ride back down into the valley on glowing runners.

The appropriate toboggans (from the luge to the traditional Zipflbob) can be rented in Hochfügen for little money.

The use of the toboggan run is free of charge - as often as you can manage the ascent and descent! As easy as tobogganing sometimes seems when you're watching, it's actually quite challenging.

It is important to avoid sources of danger - safe shoes, warm clothing, gloves and at best a helmet with ski goggles are standard equipment. Adults, of course, set the best example! A moderate, anticipatory driving style gives safety and control, and pays respect to other sledders.
