The hike first takes you through the Puittal valley and offers the first picturesque views of the untouched nature and surrounding mountain landscape. With a bit of luck, you may also come across chamois and marmots.
After around three hours of hiking, you will be treated to magnificent views of the Gaistal valley. Passing the Erinnerungshüttl hut, you continue on to the final section towards the summit.
Once you reach the summit cross, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Leutasch valley, Karwendel mountains and the Hohe Munde.
A descent via the Wangalm and Wettersteinhütte also promises well-deserved refreshment with traditional delicacies.
