The hike begins in Pederü. From there, follow the trail to the Fanes mountain pasture and then continue to the Lavarella refuge. Continue along trail no. 7/13, which leads north across a short slope. At a fork, continue on trail no. 13 into the wide "Plan de Salines" basin. Heading north, the trail climbs through the basin to a wide, high-altitude valley, where it continues uphill, following a low stone and wood wall, to a scree slope. Cross this scree slope to reach the Sant'Antonio Pass. From here, turn right (northeast) and continue along the ridge to the Cima di St. Antonio, where a small wooden cross awaits hikers.

Elevation gain: +620 m EG, 2,060-2,660 m

Difficulty level: difficult
