Dreamy high-altitude trail in the Vorderwald alpine region.
The cross-border circular trail connects the Bregenzerwald with the Oberallgäu and Vorarlberg with Bavaria. Between the access road and the Moosalpe, the snow cover conceals the Kojenmoos, a high moor that is still very pristine and protected.
The route runs almost entirely on groomed hiking trails through the high valley basin between the Nagelfluh ridges of Hochhäderich and Kojen-Fluh.
From the Hochhäderich parking lot, it initially leads across the Austrian-German border and climbs up to the plateau of the Hörmoosalpe. From there, you descend a little to the Hochwiesalpe, then to the Glutgschwandenalpe and finally via the Moosalpe back to the starting point.
