Undoubtedly Austria’s most original gourmet event!

More than 35 top chefs are giving it their all—but not in their own kitchens, rather in their colleagues’ restaurants. Who is cooking where remains a closely guarded secret until the first courses are served.

For example, Andreas Herbst will swap places with a renowned colleague at our Genusswerkstatt. A 5-course menu—including an aperitif, wine pairings, mineral water, and coffee—will be served in the exclusive setting of a gala dinner.

How does “Chef’s Roulette” work?

Guests book this evening at one of the participating JRE restaurants, but they don’t know who will be cooking where. This leaves every dish open to speculation and guesswork, making this extraordinary evening even more unforgettable and exciting. This fantastic culinary experience is rounded out by first-class wine pairings, sometimes even in the presence of the winemakers themselves.
