A truly extraordinary experience awaits just a short distance from Villach: the Terra Mystica & Terra Montana show mines in Bad Bleiberg.
Here you literally go underground - with the longest miner's slide in Europe (68 m!). Once at the bottom, you will discover a mysterious tunnel world with light and sound shows, old mining stories and exciting insights into the formation of the earth.
A real highlight for children is the treasure hunt in the tunnel, where little adventurers can even find gemstones. The mining museum and the fun caricature museum are also part of the experience.

Opening times:
May - June & September - October: mostly 11:00 & 13:00 guided tours
July & August: several guided tours daily between approx. 9:30 - 15:00
Winter months: mostly guided tours on Saturdays
💡 Tip:
The temperature in the mountain is constantly approx. 8-9 °C - so be sure to bring a jacket, even in summer!
