ROUTE:
The trail climbs uphill from 1600 meters at the Monte parking lot to 2300 meters at Campaccio, presenting on the way fresh water springs, scenic viewpoints and artistic points of interest, such as the century-old Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Monte and characteristic mountain huts. Starting from the ancient village of Monte, follow the sent. N273 in a northwesterly direction to the Campello huts, which can be reached in about 40 minutes. From here the walk continues in
westward on sent. N273, which briefly intercepts sent. N208 and then continues to Malga di Campaccio, heading southeast, where the characteristic mountain pond can be seen.
The communal alpine pasture testifies to the link with the territory and its maintenance through agriculture and pastoralism, of great importance in Alta Valtellina
