Every third woman is a victim of violence. That's 1 billion women worldwide ("one billion"). This worldwide dance protest action day aims to raise awareness and at the same time encourage women to rise up.

The dance protest action "One Billion Rising" will take place on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 on the market square in Markdorf.
