A peak with character—those who climb the Little Aifner are not only rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Inn Valley, but can even see the great glaciers of the Kaunertal. Stop for a break at the Aifneralm, where you can enjoy cheese specialties from the on-site dairy and other Tyrolean delicacies. The 2,450-meter-high “Kleiner Aifner,” with its high-alpine character, offers an incomparably beautiful and impressive summit experience. The summit slope in particular, with its boulder-strewn path, requires sturdy footwear—but don’t worry, it’s manageable for everyone. Since this mountain is ascended via a north-facing slope, snow may still be present until June. We’ll set off from the alpine pasture, first through a beautiful Swiss stone pine forest, but soon we’ll be climbing up onto a very wide ridge with a wonderfully weathered rock slab that offers an impressive view of the Venet Massif across the valley. This beautiful tour promises a high-alpine experience and genuine mountaineering flair! A summit everyone must climb at least once in their lifetime!
