Matatz Peak, 2,170 m: This mountain, offering spectacular views and accessible to hikers, rises high above the valley village of St. Martin in the Texel Group Nature Park. The trail leads across the alpine pastures of the Ulfaseralm, through forests and meadows up to the Wetterkreuz, and then continues over stone slabs on the ascent to the summit cross. Hiking time: approx. 5 hours Elevation gain: 650 m Difficulty: moderate
