Beer town Radeberg - Here is the pleasure at home!
On tour through the old town of Radeberg on the Beer Town Trail, there are well-known but also undiscovered things to experience.
From the train station, head towards the Radeberg Export Beer Brewery, where for over 150 years the first German beer brewed in the Pilsner style is still bottled or barreled today.
Just a few steps away, at the entrance to the historic Old Town, the Kaiserhof welcomes its guests for accommodation in the hotel, for refreshments in the Radeberg brewery taproom, and also for Saxon cuturgoods in the Radeberg beer theater.
The next stop is the "Original Radeberg Liqueur Factory". Here a small sip of the traditional bitter is worthwhile and shows in an exhibition the history of the distillery.
Lovingly restored buildings line the cobblestone main street leading to the market. Passing the church and small stores that invite you to browse, you will discover the post office column at the town hall. It testifies to the commercial center of past centuries.
The end point of the stroll is Klippenstein Castle, which attracts its visitors to the town museum and the special exhibition on Radeberg's industrial history.
