The Dithmarschen Stone Age Park is an open-air archaeological museum with reconstructed history in its original size. Here you can experience the way of life of hunter-gatherers in their village. On an open-air site of around 40 hectares, you can experience a cultural landscape from the time of the first farmers and cattle breeders in northern Germany 5,000 years ago. It is history you can touch and feel, and many fun learning activities are taught by trained supervisors and museum educators as part of special museum education programs. There is also an exciting circular trail that leads through the different eras with faithful replicas and original finds, a real experience for nature lovers.
