Hike to the Glocke natural jewel

The natural gem of the Glocke rises up between the Zemmschlucht gorge and the Tuxbachklamm gorge. The Glocke is home to an extraordinary microclimate and numerous botanical rarities, which is currently only preserved three times in the Eastern Alps as a relic of the post-glacial period. We hike through this protected part of the landscape before taking the bus back to the hotel. Along the way, we come across the Teufelsbrücke bridge, the Tuxbachklamm gorge to Hochsteg and the Hochstegbrücke bridge with the Zemmschlucht gorge below to the starting point.

Meeting point: 10:00 am on the dot at the hotel entrance to House 1 (Alpin Lodge)

Registration: by 8 pm the day before

Bring along: good shoes, hiking clothing, drinks and money for a refreshment stop
