Waal hike to the castle ruins Obermontani and to the weather cross

We start directly at the Jagdhof and hike along idyllic Waalwege to the Obermontani castle ruins, which are always a great photo motif from all angles. After crossing the Plima, we reach the weather cross above Morter via the Rautwaalweg. In earlier centuries, these crosses with 3 crossbars were erected by farmers who hoped for heavenly protection from lightning, storms and hailstorms. In addition to good weather, we hope for a cool beer in the Latscher Bierkeller at the end of the tour.
