15.classical music summer concert Sarnen

The classical music summer concert is taking place in Sarnen for the 15th time. This year, virtuoso trumpets, horns, piano and organ.

Award-winning soloists create a noble festive atmosphere with well-known works. Popular fanfares by M.A.Charpentier, H.Purcell, G.F.Händel, as well as works by A.Vivaldi, W.A.Mozart, Joh.Strauss are on the program. When organ sounds are combined with trumpets, trombone and cello, great music can be heard in Sarnen. The soloists have won numerous competitions. They regularly work with the biggest names in today's music world. They are engaged as soloists at the Teatro alla Scala, Pomeriggi Musicali, Arena di Verona, Orchestra della RAI Milano and Torino, Zurich Opera, Orchestra OSI Lugano and others.

Combine your concert visit with an extended stay at Lake Sarnen: take the train from the guesthouse (1 minute's walk) to Sarnen and then back again. Let the cultural experience linger in your dreams and enjoy a hearty breakfast the next morning.
