In real life, Wulli & Sonja are Thomas “Wulli” Wullschläger and Sonja Tonn, and their music has absolutely nothing to do with Schlager. With these two, you’re in for a concentrated dose of singer-songwriter, blues, jazz, and JOKE-folk. It doesn’t hurt a bit.😏

They write their own songs about life, love, and everyday madness—sometimes in German, sometimes in English, and even in “Fränggisch.”😜 They also put their own unique spin on the occasional gem from music history.

Their concerts tell stories and are peppered with spontaneous comedy. Their music delivers goosebump-inducing moments and surprises of all kinds. Their lyrics are moving and leave a lasting impression.

Wulli’s unique guitar playing🎸 makes a whole band unnecessary, and combined with Sonja’s extraordinary voice🎤:

An absolute treat for the ears. The two don’t just make music—they put on a highly entertaining show with their voices, acoustic guitars, ukulele, and anything else that makes a sound.
