On a discovery hike in winter

Our leisurely circular hike starts at Gibitzplatz in Deutschnofen. From there, we follow the old Kirchsteig trail to the idyllically situated Wölflhof farm, where we plan to stop for lunch. Along the way, hiking guide Irene will point out the special features of winter nature. What strategies do plants and animals use to survive the cold season? Perhaps we will even discover traces of wild animals? Experiencing the winter silence of nature is a special treat for body and soul. Again and again we enjoy impressive views of the surrounding peaks - the Corno Bianco, the Latemar and the Catinaccio, which are part of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a lunch break, we return along the European long-distance hiking trail E5 back to Nova Ponente/Deutschnofen.
