When literature, indulgence, and a vibrant wine culture come together, the result is an evening full of special moments.
In the atmospheric fireplace room, bestselling author Caren Benedikt reads from her latest novel and transports her guests into the fascinating world of the turn of the century.
Between the readings, a sophisticated four-course “flying dinner” awaits you, served to complement the story. The evening will be accompanied by selected wines from two renowned estates: the traditional Rheingau winery Schloss Vollrads and the Franconian winery Hugo Brennfleck.
Look forward to a delightful duel between the winemakers: Rieslings and Silvaners, the Rheingau and Franconia, elegance and character—presented with passion and the question of which wine will win the guests’ hearts. The winemakers from both estates will be on hand in person to present their wines and guide the evening with fascinating insights into the origins, craftsmanship, and character of their vintages.
