Details
A leisurely hike past beautifully situated alpine pastures from Gerlosstein to Brandberg. We’ll take the hotel bus toward Hainzenberg, where we’ll board the Gerlossteinbahn to reach the starting point of our hike. From there, we’ll hike through stunning forests and along scenic trails to the Steinerkogel mountain inn in Brandberg. From there, we’ll take public transportation back to the hotel.
Tour details:
🚶↔ Hike: approx. 3.5 hours
🏔️↑ Elevation gain: approx. 250 hm
🥾 🥾Difficulty: easy to moderate (also suitable for children in good physical condition)
🍽️Places to stop for refreshments: Karlalm from June to September, Steinerkögerl Inn (Mon, Tue, Wed: closed)
Equipment: Sturdy, ankle-high hiking boots, a spare T-shirt, water bottles, sunscreen, rain/wind jacket, money for the gondola ride and refreshments.
Gondola ride: Uphill ride approx. €19.00 for adults and approx. €9.50 for children
