When tension is felt because up to 800 spectators hold their breath at the same time, then you're sitting in the AdlerBühne Ahorn in Mayrhofen in the Zillertal. Here, the kings of the air soar just a hand's breadth above the heads of the spectators, before swooping down on a lure in a steep flight. Fascinating moments, accompanied by Didi Wechselberger, host of the highest bird of prey station in Europe at an altitude of 2,000 meters, and his wife Waltraud. Bird of prey demonstrations take place daily (except Tuesday) at 2:00 p.m. from mid-June to October.
