You've hiked all day, stopped off at the Schafberg Hüsli, your legs are tired and you don't necessarily want to take the train down to the valley? Then the mountain cart is just the thing! Almost like a go-kart - only on 3 wheels and without a motor - you ride from the mountain station along the forest paths down into the valley. Safe riding fun is guaranteed!
Take your time - time to ride down!
The mountain carts are available and reserved at the mountain station of the 8EUB Schafbergbahn, as well as at the start of the 6 km long route. Our PME sports store staff will briefly familiarize you with the "rules of the game" and the mountain cart at the Schafberg Hüsli. They will also provide you with the appropriate safety equipment. Then it's off you go.
The route runs along the forest path down to the valley station. Would you like to know how fast you can actually go on a mountain cart? - No problem, thanks to the speed check installed along the route. Once you reach the bottom, it's time to smile! The photos for your vacation or family album are available in the PME sports store.
Children under 140 cm tall can only ride with an adult
Children aged 10 years and over and 140 cm tall can ride a mountain cart on their own, but only in the presence of an adult or legal guardian. If an adult and a child ride together on a mountain cart, we recommend selecting a larger cart when booking
