Hotel Sacher Salzburg

Hotel Sacher Salzburg
Craftsmanship and tradition define Sacher, be it in the iconic Original Sacher-Torte or in our partnerships with Salzburg's best traditional manufacturers, such as Lanz Trachten. For more than 100 years, Lanz Trachten has been shaping Austrian style with the same dedication to tradition and excellence.
The exclusive personal experience:
First, Theresa Lanz, representative of the third generation of the family, welcomes you directly at the Hotel Sacher Salzburg and guides you through the historic alleys to the Lanz Atelier.
In the Lanz Atelier, you step into the heart of craftsmanship. Discover the craftsmanship behind the fabrics, cuts and materials. Learn from the master tailor how each garment is shaped, fitted and perfected. Hear stories about the Lanz family, the rich heritage and the great-aunt who made the dirndl a symbol of refined Austrian fashion.
The visit continues in the Lanz boutique, where finished pieces await you. From timeless dirndls to women's and men's fashion, all handmade in the atelier. Here you are invited to browse, try on selected pieces and leaf through the guest book, which has already featured names such as Marlene Dietrich.
