Passo, Carezza
The hike begins with the drive from Welschnofen to the Karer See bus stop. From the legendary Karer See, the trail leads—depending on the season—through blooming spring meadows or autumnal alpine pastures. In spring, colorful mountain flowers adorn the meadows around the lake, while in autumn the larch trees in the valley are dressed in their golden-yellow robes. Accompanied at all times by a breathtaking view of the Dolomites and the Rosengarten massif, we hike toward the Niger Pass. Finally, we return to Welschnofen via the picturesque Nigertalweg trail to the starting point.
