The starting point for this hike is the picturesque village of Pinswang in the Reutte Nature Park region.
It is considered one of the oldest settlements in the Tyrolean Außerfern. The Roman road Via Claudia Augusta already led through the small village. From Pinswang, you pass the estate to Schluxen and take the Fürstenstraße in the direction of the Dreiländereck.
A forest path leads in serpentines up to the historical border stone. At this border stone, the county of Tyrol, the high diocese of Augsburg and the electorate of Bavaria met around 1800, hence the name "Dreiländereck".
Once you have reached the top, you will be rewarded with a fantastic view of the Allgäu: the landscape is characterised by gentle, green hills. The Lech meanders towards Füssen and the numerous lakes such as the Forggensee, the Weißensee, the Hopfensee and the Bannwaldsee are at your feet.
On this tour you will cover an altitude difference of about 340 metres. For the whole tour you need about 2 hours and cover 9.5 km. Except for the last few metres to the vantage point, the tour is also well suited for mountain bikers.
