Turquoise blue water against a spectacular mountain backdrop: The international Achensee Run is rightly one of the most beautiful running events in Austria. The run, which has already become a tradition, invites you to explore the region around the lake at a fast pace. The Achensee Run is 23.2 kilometers long - that's longer than a half marathon.
You can conquer the run alone or in pairs in the form of a relay race. The longer route (14 kilometers) is a flat gravel or asphalt course, while the shorter stage (9.2 kilometers) involves 150 meters of elevation gain. The relay handover is in Achenkirch in front of the refreshment station near Gasthof Fischerwirt. You can find the route on the interactive map maps.achensee.com
