Bottenbacher Str. 74, 66954 Pirmasens, Germany
The Old Town Hall Museum is located in the pedestrian zone on Unterer Schloßplatz in Pirmasens. The building was erected in 1771 and rebuilt in 1963 (for Pirmasens' 200th anniversary) after being almost completely destroyed during the Second World War. Since then, it has served as the town museum and, in addition to the permanent exhibitions on local history, also houses special exhibitions at regular intervals. The town museum is run by the Pirmasens town archives, through which museum tours, workshops and historical town tours can be booked.
