Starting from Bormio 3000, which can be reached by cable car up from Bormio (inquire about opening at the tourist offices), take the sent. S541 and, passing through Bei Laghetti, arrive at the Bocca di Profa junction where you continue on the sent. S518. After crossing the stream at Baita del Pastore, the trail joins sent. S542 and continues until it reaches Sobrettina. From here a wide trail, mostly flat but with some uphill and downhill sections, leads to La Rocca locality.
Cross the ski slopes and continue along the sent. S543.1 to the locality Comane and then descend to Bormio 2000 where the cable car back to Bormio starts. The area crossed by this walk is rich in streams and small lakes, especially in the Profa Valley. Along the descent to Bormio, it offers wide views of the valley and typical alpine pasture vegetation.
