"Traces of the Mountain Farming Era" Historical Nature Trail

Through this educational trail, we aim to preserve the regional history and the way of life on South Tyrolean farms in the past, and to share this with our guests. At various stations along the trail, original farming tools from bygone eras at the historic Kösslerhof are displayed and explained. Each station tells the story of a tool, its use on the farm, and the traditional working methods of past generations.

The goal of the nature trail is to highlight regional culture, preserve knowledge, and provide a meaningful insight into the simple and sustainable life of times gone by.

The educational trail combines sustainability, regional identity, and cultural appreciation—core values of Kessler’s Mountain Lodge.
