On the Plan de Corones you will find, in addition to a magnificent panorama, the MMM and the LUMEN.
The MMM Corones on the summit of Plan de Corones, at 2,275 m above sea level, with its unique view of the Dolomites, located between Olang, Bruneck and the Badia Valley, is the conclusion of the mountain museum project of mountaineering legend Reinhold Messner. The last of the six museums is about the great walls, about the supreme discipline of alpinism.
With LUMEN, this fascination finds a photographic home: located at the summit of the Kronplatz, 1800 square meters are fully dedicated to the photography of mountains.
On four floors, LUMEN makes it possible to experience the history of mountain photography from its beginnings to the present, as well as the art of mountain photographers from all over the world.
The museums are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. according to the cable car timetable.
