The name GIRUN comes from the Rhaeto-Romanic word for “vulture.” Master brewer Florian Geyer’s name represents both the product and the region. This is because bearded vultures were reintroduced to the Swiss National Park in 1991, and their population has been growing steadily ever since.
Meet Florian Geyer on a brewery tour and learn all about GIRUN. The tour concludes with a beer tasting featuring a panoramic view.
