GAIA - Our planet in the heart of Ellwangen

Imagine entering a church and suddenly floating around a seven-metre-tall, glowing planet Earth. This is GAIA, the fascinating art installation by British artist Luke Jerram, which transforms Ellwangen into a magical place.

From May 8 to June 19, you can experience a unique work of art in the Protestant town church that shows our planet in breathtaking detail. The installation makes perfect use of the sacred atmosphere of the nave. An experience that combines art, spirituality and environmental awareness in a wonderful way.
