Guided hike from the Zillertal Alps Nature Park

Into the realm of ibexes and 3,000m peaks

Our tour starts in Bärenbad and leads us directly to the "king of the mountains". In the Steinbock.Welten we learn more about the exciting history of these fascinating animals, but we can also observe real ibexes in the enclosure. In the wild in the Zillertal Alps there is currently a population of about 80-90 animals. Then we hike past the Zillergründl reservoir to the picturesquely situated high mountain chapel (2,275 m), which is dedicated to St. Valentine. As a reward for the steep ascent, a magnificent view of the wild, glaciated mountains of the Reichenspitz group awaits us. After a stop and refreshment at the Adlerblick inn, we return to Mayrhofen from the Zillergründl store by public bus.
