Bike hire at the Familien-Thermenresort*

Several mountain bikes, ladies' bikes and children's bikes are available for hire.

Mountain bike & ladies' bikes are also available with matching helmets for children & adults.

Prices mountain bike & ladies' bikes:

1/2 day (3-12 hrs.): € 10.00

1 day (12-24 hours): € 15.00

1/2 day children: € 5.00

1 day children: € 7.50

Child seat and helmets: free of charge subject to availability

Bike trails of all levels of difficulty await you around the H2O Thermenresort. From the 12-kilometre tour to the 150-kilometre thermal spa cycle path, there are options for every sporting level.

Many of the cycle paths start directly in Bad Waltersdorf - put on your jersey and cycle away directly from your thermal spa resort.

Family-friendly/easy cycle tours

Leitersdorfer Radweg R34 (12.6 km)

The route leads from Bad Waltersdorf towards Blumau along low-traffic, flat side roads. Many shady sections of forest make the tour perfect for summer days too. There is a short ascent before Kleinsteinbach, but this can be avoided.

Feinspitz Tour (21.1 km)

This family-friendly tour leads through the Styrian countryside on a flat route with only one short ascent. You will pass fabulous inns and rustic wine taverns along the way, where you can combine your cycling excursion with an enjoyable refreshment stop.

For fit cyclists

Lucullus Tour (14 km)

Not too far, but over hilly terrain, you cycle through the Styrian countryside on this cycle path. You will pass vineyards and orchards as well as inviting wine taverns and inns.

St. Magdalena Cycle Path R36 (15.9 km)

A varied cycle path through the hilly landscape in and around Bad Waltersdorf, starting and finishing in the town center.

Harter Teich-Radweg R33 (26 km)

Magnificent views make up for some of the strenuous climbs on this tour from Bad Walterdorf.

Hartberger-Radweg R35 (32 km)

A beautiful, sporty tour for trained cyclists along side roads with little traffic. Starting and finishing point is the Bad Waltersdorf information office.
