Founded in 1258, the former Cistercian abbey was a spiritual center of northern Germany. Today, the ruins, which were co-designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel, are one of the most beautiful concert venues in Brandenburg - a place where history, nature and music come together in an impressive way.

The Brandenburg Summer Concerts present a program full of virtuosity and young excellence: Alexander Won-Ho Kim, winner of the International Joseph Joachim Violin Competition 2024, will perform Mozart's famous "Turkish" violin concerto together with the Kammersymphonie Berlin.

This will be accompanied by works by Haydn, Bossi and Schubert's 5th Symphony - fresh, emotional and timeless.
