E-Bike & Hike Tour: "Versell & Gaishörndl" (2.615m)

Active vacation experiences that will be remembered:

today with a E-Bike & Hike tour on the “Gaishörndl”.

Let's get started with the E-Bike from the Hotel to St. Martin. Already during the ascent into the Versell Valley you will smell the scent of untouched nature in your nose, hear the rustling of the treetops and feel pure mountain air in your lungs. Always following the forest road no. 44, we pass the “Randl” hut and the “Tolder” hut until we reach the “Schuster” hut at just over 2,100m.

Now the E-Bike can rest, and we leave the wide forest road and climb steeply up to “Grubers Lenke”. From there we now tackle the last meters of altitude to our day's destination: the “Gaishörndl” at 2,615m! During our well-deserved rest we enjoy together the quiet mountain atmosphere and the beautiful view towards the Dolomites. The return follows the same path as the ascent, and then we return with our E-Bike in the Hotel Quelle.

Where history lives again

Today you will discover with our guide the Folklore Museum in Dietenheim near Bruneck.

This Museum shows the life of the rural population in days gone by - from landed gentry and self-sufficient farmers to day laborers and craftsmen. The focal point is the baroque Mair am Hof manor house with its stately rooms and folklore collections.

The outdoor area with old original farmhouses, workshops, farm gardens and domestic animals invites you to linger and tells of everyday life in a bygone era.
