E-bike pleasure tour through the Vinschgau Valley

A special kind of high-altitude hike beneath the mighty glaciers of the rear Val Martello. On the trail of the "Lasa marble" and the "Venosta Valley apricot"! Today's DolceVita e-bike pleasure tour takes us to the Venosta Valley, or rather to Lasa/Laas, where we get to know the world-famous Lasa marble and the Venosta Valley apricot a little better. From Laces we take the bike shuttle to the starting point of our tour in Lasa/Laas. From the historic train station in Lasa/Laas, we cycle past the processing site for Lasa/Laas marble, where we can take a look at the valley station of the inclined marble railroad. This was built in 1930 and is still rightly celebrated today as a "masterpiece of engineering". We continue on a pleasant ascent to Parnetz up to the Bremsberg (approx. 500 meters in altitude). The mountain station of the inclined railroad is located on the Bremsberg, where we get a fascinating insight into this masterpiece of engineering. With many new impressions, we cycle downhill and along the oldest apricot orchards in Lasa/Laas. Lasa is not only famous for its white gold (Lasa marble), but also for the cultivation of the ancient apricot variety "Vinschger Marille". We soon reach our lunch destination, the Prader fish pond. Here we enjoy the wonderful location and take a well-deserved break. With renewed energy, we cycle up to Eyrs to the beautiful panoramic trail. A magnificent view of the valley accompanies us on the last few kilometers of our tour towards Lasa/Laas. Once in Lasa/Laas, we make a short stop at Venustis, where the finest chocolate and delicacies from the Venosta Valley meet great products made from Lasa/Laas marble. At the end of the tour, the bike shuttle will take you back to the hotel. If you would like to cycle the route back to the hotel, you are of course welcome to do so. It is approx. 15 km from Lasa/Latsch to Laces/Latsch.
