The two Jacobs farmers are lazy and sluggish! When it comes to work

, father and son are definitely not exactly model workers. And that’s exactly what the farm looks like! The only one

who works her heart out is the farmer’s wife, Babett. Due to a mishap

, she’s unable to work.

Aunt Materna arrives, and that’s the end of the cozy atmosphere on the farm. But

it’s not just her who stirs things up for the two slackers; a few mysterious pilgrims who have

strayed onto the farm also bring a good dose of discord to the otherwise idyllic

country life.

But what’s that lovely saying? No misfortune is so great that it doesn’t come with a

little silver lining!
