In the early 1920s, Ampflwang was the most modern coal mining operation in Europe. ÖGEG took over the line and buildings and has been working on an Austrian Railway Museum since 1996, which was opened in 2006 with the Upper Austrian Provincial Exhibition.\n\nFree bicycle transport on every train.
