Description
Ronja grows up as the daughter of the robber chieftain Mattis at Mattisburg, deep in the mysterious Mattis Forest. There, she experiences exciting adventures, encounters wild forest creatures, and learns to stand on her own two feet. One day, she meets Birk, the son of rival bandit leader Borka. Despite the enmity between their families, the two become close friends.
Together, Ronja and Birk explore the forest and bravely defy their parents’ rules. An exciting yet heartwarming story about friendship, freedom, courage, and finding one’s own path—based on the popular children’s book by Astrid Lindgren, for little Sandman fans.
