Ice field Tavanasa

The ice rink in Tavanasa is the meeting place for young and old in winter.

As soon as the temperatures drop, the ice is sprayed with water every day until it reaches an optimum height.

The natural ice rink is located after the Tavanasa exit in the direction of Trun, immediately on the left towards the Axpo power station on the lake in Tavanasa. Thanks to its shady location, the ice rink is ideal for enjoying various activities such as curling, ice skating and ice hockey until March.

Ice skating is particularly beautiful in the evening when the lights come on and it is already dark all around. Enjoy unforgettable moments in nature and in the heart of the Surselva.

In the log cabin next to the ice rink you will find ice skates which can be used free of charge. If the ice rink is not illuminated, you will also find the main switch for the lighting in the hut.

As it is a natural ice rink, please note that the opening times depend on the weather. If you have any questions, you can contact us by telephone or e-mail.

You will find a cash desk (collection) at the ice rink. You are welcome to contribute to the maintenance of the ice rink.
