Historical hike to the defense system with bunker tour

To kick off our hiking week, we set off on a special hike to Plamort that combines nature and history. Together we will first take the shuttle from the Traube Post to the starting point in Reschen. The first eight registrations secure a place on the shuttle, all other participants travel by car (5 min.). Dogs are welcome, but only if they arrive in a private car.

From there, we will hike up and down a total of around 500 meters in altitude to the Plamort viewpoint, which is one of the most beautiful excursion destinations in the region with its incomparable panoramic view over Lake Reschen. On the way, we discover the so-called Alpine Wall: at the end of the 1930s, a mighty line of defense consisting of anti-tank barriers, bunkers, supply roads and command posts was built here.

Almost back in the village, we visit the original bunker, for which warm clothing is required. We then drive back to the hotel.

A tour that combines the beauty of nature with a moving piece of the past and is an experience full of impressions.
