Excursion to the peak of Sasso Putia

The hike begins at Passo delle Erbe. From San Vigilio, the starting point can be reached by car in about 35 minutes or by public transport (free with the Guest Pass). From Passo delle Erbe, trail no. 8A leads to a beautiful alpine meadow. At the fork, turn right beneath the north face of Sasso Putia and follow trail no. 4 to Forcella Sasso Putia. From there, turn left onto the marked trail and climb to a pass between the main and secondary summits, before continuing on the rocky path equipped with cables to the summit of Sasso Putia. The descent follows the same route.
