Concert evening - Advent in the Alps

The “Advent in the Alps” event is taking place in Oberstaufen for the seventh time this year. In the festively decorated barn at Alpe Vögelsberg, visitors can look forward to a contemplative evening of concert music featuring Alpine folk music, readings, and stories.

Well-known BR host Georg Ried will guide the audience through the program and read Christmas stories from the Allgäu region. The musical program features, among others, the Oberachter Sänger, Zupft und Gschlaage from Oberstdorf, the accordion duo Christoph Schafroth and Flori Hauber, and the Staufner Weisenbläser. The varied program invites you to pause, leave the stress of everyday life behind, and let yourself be swept up in the pre-Christmas spirit—a special Advent experience.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
