Apple Bike Day & Apple Festival — Live Music and a Varied Program September 20, 2026

Lace up your hiking boots and hop on your bike!

The Gehrenberg-Bodensee Tourism Association hosts the annual “Apple Bike Day” with a varied program, treats, and music at hamlets and farms along the Apple Bike Trail.

THE PROGRAM HERE AT THE WIRTHSHOF:

- Live music in the courtyard with the band Roof Tribe

- Open play barn, apple craft table and apple hopscotch game for kids

- Delicious food from the WirthsHofLaden and Hofcafé

- Large picnic area under orchard trees

1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. - Apple juice pressing for all ages with Claudius Wirth at the juicer and delicious apples from the BUND orchard. Heavenly delicious....

2:00 p.m. – Apple Pie Hike with Maria Wirth along fields, orchard meadows, and fruit groves – with fun facts about Lake Constance apples. The event wraps up with coffee and cake. Registration: Please register online via the Tourist Information Office HERE

Yoga Under Apple Trees

11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. - Balancing Yang & Yin Yoga (no registration required, fee: 12 euros)

12:15–1:00 p.m. - Short talk on symbols and customs of the autumnal equinox & apples (no registration required, donations welcome)

6:00–7:10 p.m. - Yoga for Cyclists’ Hips and Hikers’ Calves (no registration required, donations welcome)

Meeting point: on our apple orchard behind the parking lot. In case of rain, the event will be held in the gym.

The Apple Bike Loop is 38.1 km long and takes about 3 hours of pure riding time to complete. The tour reaches a high of 556 meters and a low of 419 meters, making it perfect for a family outing. You can also ride just sections of the “Apfelradlrunde.”

The “Apfelwanderrunde” is 6 kilometers long and accessible even for strollers.
