Join historian Andrea Bigge on a walk along the fascinating paths that Caspar David Friedrich once roamed.


Starting with a picturesque crossing on board the historic ferry "Lena", you will continue your journey on the other side of the Elbe, along the Caspar David Friedrich Trail, until you reach an idyllic spot opposite the former sandstone quarries.


A cozy picnic awaits you at this special place. Enjoy a culinary break in the place where Caspar David Friedrich himself once stood and painted, while Andrea Bigge enchants you with captivating insights into the painter's world.

Should the weather not be conducive to a walk, a sketching course with Andrea Bigge awaits you instead, offering you the opportunity to express yourself creatively and capture the inspiring atmosphere of Caspar David Friedrich's world.
