Obermulten 3, Aitern
My absolute favorite hike up to the Belchen leads over the Stuhlsebene and the Böllener Eck up a narrow zigzag path to the Belchenhaus. What I like best are the amazing views into the small Wiesental valley and the magnificent photo perspectives over the large rocks down into the valley.
This is where the Belchen shows its alpine and steep side, making it all the more interesting.
I only recommend this tour in good, dry weather and with a certain basic level of fitness. Hiking poles can be borrowed from reception to make the ascent a little easier.
Always be aware of possible drop-off edges on the rocks and always behave considerately and carefully in the nature reserve.
I recommend the approx. 2-hour circular trail across the chair plain in winter when there is snow and black ice. This trail is also ideal as a snowshoe hike. You can hire snowshoes at the Belchenbahn cable car, and you can get specific directions at our reception. Have fun in the snow!
